Warehouse Relocation Services in Memphis, TN

Memphis earned the nickname America's Distribution Center: the FedEx World Hub, five Class I railroads, one of the busiest cargo airports on the planet, and the I-40/I-55 interchange all in one metro. Our headquarters sits minutes away in West Memphis, AR, so when a Memphis warehouse needs to move, we are the closest turnkey relocation crew there is.

Turnkey Scope

One crew, one point of contact, start to finish

Teardown at the old building, transport, and reinstallation at the new one are handled by the same in-house team, with permits and engineering managed inside the project instead of left on your desk.

Teardown & Labeling

Down in sequence, not in a pile

Rack, decking, and equipment come apart in a labeled, staged order so reinstallation is fast assembly instead of a sorting project.

Transport & Coordination

Freight timed to the receiving crew

Trucking and load sequencing are ours to manage. For Memphis-area moves, short hauls mean tight, same-day load-and-set cycles.

Reinstall, Permits & Engineering

Stood back up, signed off

In-house crews reinstall and optimize your layout, with high-piled storage permits and engineering documents handled as part of the job.

Relocating in Memphis

This metro is our home turf

Memphis-area distribution runs on a corridor that crosses two state lines: President's Island and the airport submarket in Tennessee, the DeSoto County giants in Southaven and Olive Branch, MS, and our own backyard in West Memphis and Marion, AR. We have worked all of it for four decades. That matters in a relocation because local crews mean no mobilization surcharge, no hotel-week schedule padding, and a team that can be at your dock for a walkthrough within a day or two of your call.

Serving Memphis, West Memphis, Southaven, Olive Branch, Marion, and the surrounding distribution corridor from our West Memphis, AR headquarters, minutes across the river.

How It Works

The relocation process, step by step

  1. Site walk and plan. We evaluate both facilities, inventory your rack and equipment, and build a phased schedule around your shipping calendar.
  2. Teardown and labeling. Systems come down in a documented sequence, with components labeled for the exact bay they go back into.
  3. Transport. We coordinate trucks, loads, and delivery windows so material arrives in the order the receiving crew needs it.
  4. Reinstall and optimize. The same crew reinstalls your system, fixing layout problems from the old building instead of copying them.
  5. Inspection and go-live. Final plumb, level, and anchor checks, permit sign-off, and your operation is back in business.

Common Questions

Memphis relocations, quick answers

Yes. The Mississippi-side DC corridor is part of our daily working territory, along with President's Island, the airport submarket, and the Arkansas side of the river.

Our headquarters is in West Memphis, minutes across the river. A walkthrough can usually happen within a day or two of your call, and typical quote response is same day or next business day.

Depends on the rack and the distance. With $10M+ of ready-to-install used rack inventory nearby, buying comparable used rack for the new building is often cheaper and faster than moving old steel. See our decommissioning page for the math.
