SELL YOUR EQUIPMENT

We Buy Used Pallet Rack and Warehouse Equipment

Growing, relocating, downsizing, or closing: eventually you have to decide what happens to the equipment. Lease expirations, downtime windows, and thin staffing make it urgent. We make it simple: a firm offer with no contingencies, our own crews handle the teardown, and you get paid fast.

What We Buy

If it stores, moves, or handles product, we'll look at it

Pallet rack is our core business, but we buy across the whole facility. If you're clearing a building, one buyer for everything beats coordinating five. Send us photos and rough counts and we'll tell you quickly what has value.

How the Buyout Works

Three steps from photos to payment

Step 1

Tell us what you have

Photos, rough counts, and your deadline. Quantity, configuration, age, and condition drive what the material is worth in the current market.

Step 2

Firm offer, written timeline

Highly competitive pricing with no contingencies, plus a teardown and removal schedule you can plan your move-out around.

Step 3

We tear down, haul, and pay

In-house crews handle the teardown safely and on schedule, the material leaves on our trucks, and you get paid quickly: check or credit toward a future purchase.

Why Sellers Choose AMH

What we do, and what we won't

Plenty of buyers will quote you a number. The difference shows up in whether the crews show, the timeline holds, and the check clears. Here's where we stand on both sides of that line.

What We Do

01
Offer highly competitive pricing on your equipment with no contingencies.
Commit to timelines that let you plan the teardown and removal around your operation.
Use our in-house crews to hit those timelines safely and professionally.
Pay quickly.

What We Won't Do

02
Base our price on whether we can presell some or all of your equipment first.
Overpromise with unrealistic time estimates to win the deal.
Scramble to assemble teardown crews after the fact.
Slow-pay after the equipment is already gone.
Where Your Equipment Goes

Your rack becomes our inventory, not landfill

We can pay real money for used equipment because we're the end of the line, not a middleman. Rack we buy comes back to our 100+ acre yard, gets cleaned, inspected, and load-rated, then resells through our used pallet rack inventory. Damaged uprights feed our RACKCYCLE repair program, and what can't be saved is recycled as steel. Buy it, refurbish it, resell it: that loop has run since 1979, and it moves more than 50,000 tons of steel a year. Every pound of it is a pound of new steel that never has to be made; run your numbers on the environmental savings calculator.

50K+tons of steel reconditioned & recycled annually (100M+ lbs)
In-house crewsour own people run the teardown, so the schedule holds
100+ acre yardcapacity to receive full-facility volumes in one move
Since 1979family-owned, buying and reselling rack across 32+ states

Sometimes we're actively hunting specific rack profiles and sizes for waiting buyers. If you have rack to sell, it never hurts to ask what we're short on right now.

AMH did everything for us. They equipped us for growth and we didn't miss a beat. And on top of all that, we paid half the price of new rack.

Clearing the whole building, not just the rack?

Our warehouse decommissioning service handles the full takedown on a fixed timeline: unloading, disassembly, haul-out, and a facility restored to transferable condition.

Common Questions

Selling your equipment, quick answers

No. Standing, loaded, or already palletized, we handle it. Our in-house crews do the teardown, bundling, and loading, which is usually safer and faster than a facility team doing it themselves between shifts.

Decent, not perfect. Straight uprights and beams with legible capacity information carry the most value. Rack with repairable damage still has value to us because our RACKCYCLE program can restore it, and heavily damaged material is bought at scrap value rather than refused.

Quickly, and we put the terms in the offer so there's nothing to chase. We don't slow-pay after the equipment has left your building, and we don't tie your payment to whether we've resold the material.

Yes. We work in 32+ states, and our West Memphis hub gives us a freight advantage across a 500 to 600 mile radius covering the Southeast, Texas, and the Midwest. Larger volumes justify longer hauls, so tell us what you have regardless of where it sits.

Whichever fits your next project. If you're re-racking another facility, credit toward used rack, new rack, or installation often stretches further than the cash. If you're done with warehousing, take the check.
