Warehouse Relocation Services in Charlotte, NC

Charlotte grew up as a banking town and quietly became a distribution one: I-85 and I-77 cross here, an inland port terminal connects the metro by rail to the ports at Charleston and Savannah, and industrial parks now stretch from Gastonia to Concord to Rock Hill. When one of those operations changes buildings, we handle the entire move: teardown, transport, and reinstallation as one turnkey project.

Turnkey Scope

One crew, one point of contact, start to finish

Teardown at the old building, transport, and reinstallation at the new one are handled by the same in-house team, with permits and engineering managed inside the project instead of left on your desk.

Teardown & Labeling

Down in sequence, not in a pile

Rack, decking, and equipment come apart in a labeled, staged order so reinstallation is fast assembly instead of a sorting project.

Transport & Coordination

Freight timed to the receiving crew

Trucking and load sequencing are ours to manage, including Carolina moves that cross the NC/SC line mid-project.

Reinstall, Permits & Engineering

Stood back up, signed off

In-house crews reinstall and optimize your layout, with high-piled storage permits and engineering documents handled as part of the job.

Relocating in Charlotte

One accountable team beats a patchwork of local subs

Charlotte's industrial growth has outpaced its bench of experienced rack crews, so relocations here often get stitched together from an installer, a freight broker, and a rigger who have never worked the same job. That patchwork is where schedules die. We bring the whole team: the crew that tears down in Pineville is the crew that reinstalls in Concord, with the freight between them on our schedule. NC-to-SC moves toward Rock Hill and Fort Mill are handled the same way, with both states' permitting inside one project plan.

1979family-owned and operated since
In-Housecrews lead every phase (trusted subs used selectively)
1,200+projects completed, zero major safety incidents
400,000+sq ft of ready-to-install rack inventory to shorten downtime

Serving Charlotte, Concord, Gastonia, Pineville, Huntersville, and the SC side including Rock Hill and Fort Mill. Crews mobilize from West Memphis, AR.

How It Works

The relocation process, step by step

  1. Site walk and plan. We evaluate both facilities, inventory your rack and equipment, and build a phased schedule around your shipping calendar.
  2. Teardown and labeling. Systems come down in a documented sequence, with components labeled for the exact bay they go back into.
  3. Transport. We coordinate trucks, loads, and delivery windows so material arrives in the order the receiving crew needs it.
  4. Reinstall and optimize. The same crew reinstalls your system, fixing layout problems from the old building instead of copying them.
  5. Inspection and go-live. Final plumb, level, and anchor checks, permit sign-off, and your operation is back in business.

Common Questions

Charlotte relocations, quick answers

Yes. We have completed projects in 32+ states, and mobilization is priced into the quote up front. What you gain is one accountable crew for the whole move instead of coordinating three local vendors yourself.

Yes. The South Carolina side of the metro is part of the same working territory, and cross-state moves run under one project plan with both jurisdictions' permitting handled.

Usually, yes. We buy and broker used rack, so what stays behind can become credit against the project. Our decommissioning page explains how that works.
