Company History

Family-owned since 1979, still family-owned today

American Material Handling was founded in 1979 in West Memphis, Arkansas, and has stayed family-owned through 47+ years of growth. What started as a local operation has expanded into a two-campus company, headquartered in West Memphis with a second facility in Little Rock, AR, together totaling 400,000 square feet on a 39-acre campus. From there, our freight and inventory position lets us serve warehouses in 32+ states.

Safety & Compliance

In-house crews, no shortcuts

AMH installations are led by our own in-house crews, with trusted subcontract crews brought in selectively for certain scopes (large-scale decommissioning projects, for example). OSHA and RMI compliance standards are the floor, not the ceiling, for every job we take on regardless of crew, and we provide load documentation for every rack configuration we sell, whether it's new, used, or hybrid. Our dedicated repair division, RackRepair.com, carries the same standards into rack repair and safety inspections.
